Tasting Notes
Massive, concentrated and powerful, Dulce Amor offers lush, heady flavors of dark plum, blackberry, fig, raisin and cherry tart, with touches of anise. The palate features a long, rich finish of dark chocolate, toffee and cream.
Production Notes
95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot
Winemaker Notes
Both varietals are co-fermented to 14 Brix and then given a shot of pot-still brandy. This fortified wine is then aged for 15 years in French oak barrels.
Food Pairing Notes
The wine is characterized by its rich fruity character with a lush, velvety mouthfeel. It can be enjoyed for dessert as well as with cheese, or served as an aperitif. An open bottle will keep in the fridge for months.

Oh Cejas, I no longer need to travel to Portugal to purchase fine ports now that I can get this in my own town. This wine is such a treat.
